Along the way of growing the organization of Grow VC, we have learned that the minimum stage of getting those individuals we are looking for to join our team, is actually making the need public. How else will people know that we are looking? With that in mind, our organization has grown to include already over thirty individuals and our growth is only starting. Shaping the future of startup funding

We have emphasized that the door is always open for entrepreneurial individuals that are committed to shaping the future of startup funding. Therefore we have also made tools that allow this, in terms of our work investment model, where we compensate for work conducted via equity ownership in the organization itself. This model, though distinctly different than the orthodox way of operating, has gained lots of praise from our own stakeholders, as well as others looking at our organization from the outside.

What we can say, is that having entrepreneurial and committed individuals on our team, makes for a marvelous driven and passionate organization. That has been such a pleasure to watch grow.

To quote an older post on this subject; We have decided that using this model will be our primary tool when looking for new people to join our venture, regardless of what stage we are in, as it tends to lure the most capable and entrepreneurial people from all over the globe. You know the type of people that have the skills, want to do their best and be recognized and rewarded for their efforts. In fact we have decided to take this as a normal practice and build a standard process around this, so it’s easy for us to open our door to anyone that shares our passion and is willing to commit to our mission. After we agree that there is a good basic fit, then it’s up to new team member to show they can build value, if they do, they are given more responsibility and more resources to do even more – and if not – no hard feelings, that’s just life.

Right now we are looking for more team members in marketing and communications related positions. These include at least the following:

  • Community Manager
  • Partnership sales representatives
  • SEO expert
  • Copywriter
  • Visual developers
