Esther Barak LandesGrow VC announces Esther Barak Landes to its global advisory board. Landes is the CEO of investment fund at Partam Hightech (owned by Mr. Igal Ahouvi) where she has invested in more than 30 technology startup companies over the past three years. Landes will bring an invaluable perspective on Israel’s market to Grow VC, which has been building its global operations since its beta launch in June.

CEO Valto Loikkanen commented on her appointment: “Esther is an incredibly important addition to our advisory board, bringing an excellent reputation in the investment and business markets in Israel. She will give much needed perspective and expertise from the second biggest market in terms of new startups and new innovation and technology.”

Esther Barak Landes brings more than 18 years of experience in business development, strategic management, raising venture capital, and executing investments in companies. She is a certified commercial and corporate attorney. The firm she manages, Partam Hightech, is actively investing and managing the investments in high tech companies of different stages and with different focus areas. Landes was also a founding partner in Israel-Angels, a fund concentrated on building a community for angels in Israel and abroad.

“One of my passions lies in making life easier for angel investors, which in turn makes it easier for the next great startups to obtain funding. I have been focused on changing the structure of private angels investing as seed investors - because the current methodology is problematic for investors. Investors need greater protection to be part of the future exit. Grow VC has proven an excellent solution for providing a new structure, and for matchmaking companies to angel investors and also to each other, around the globe, so they can spread risk and make joint investments. A solution like this has been needed for some time.”
